Since 2021, the Industrial products Division (IPD) has organized several awareness programmes for Gems & Jewellery SMEs at the EDB Head Office and regional offices, targeting SMEs and potential exporters with the objective of strengthening the SME sector and enhance SMEs contribution towards export earning as the SMEs dominate mainly in local retail markets and tourist-oriented Jewellery outlets.
